[ACTIVE] Due to extreme cold, all Parks and Recreation programs are cancelled for Jan. 5 and 6

(Saint Paul) Due to the forecasted extreme cold, all scheduled Parks and Recreation programming, both indoor and outdoor, has been cancelled for Sunday January 5 and Monday January 6. Como Park Ski Hill and all outdoor skating rinks and warming houses will also be closed.

Facilities scheduled to be open on Sunday and Monday, including Recreation Centers and Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, will be open their posted facility hours with reduced staffing. Sunday afternoon’s ‘Music Under Glass’ concert inside the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will take place as scheduled from 4:30-6:30pm.

All programming taking place on Saturday, January 4 will go on as scheduled. Participants with activities scheduled for Saturday are reminded to be mindful of the weather and dress appropriately, as temperatures are expected to fall throughout the day.
