1. What forms of discrimination does the Saint Paul Ordinance prohibit?

The City of Saint Paul Code of Ordinance - Chapter 183 prohibits discrimination in the following areas based on:

- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Creed
- Age
- Disability
- Marital Status
- Familial Status
- Sex
- Sexual or Affectional Orientation
- National Origin
- Ancestry
- Status with regard to Public Assistance

2. Where is your online bidding?

Contract and Analysis Services uses the DemandStar system by Onvia to distribute information about bidding and contracting opportunities to potential vendors.

The DemandStar system allows users to download contracting documents and to submit quotes and bids electronically in a secured environment, eliminating the need to deliver personally to our offices.

The DemandStar system replaces our former Bid Information System (BIS).

3. What is a Disparity Study?

The Disparity Study provides the evidence, in accordance with current case law, to determine whether or not, and to what extent, remedial programs for racial or gender discrimination are appropriate.

5. How do I request access to the City's programs, services, or activities?

6. What are Business and Community Development Forums?

Business and Community Development Forums are hosted through a partnership between Community Development Corporations(CDCs) in Saint Paul, Minnesota MultiCultural Media Consortum (MMMC), Saint Paul Mayor Christopher B. Coleman and the respective City Council member.

7. How do I file a complaint against a police officer?

If you believe your rights have been violated by a police officer, you should file a complaint with the Saint Paul Police Department Internal Affairs Unit or the Police Civilian Review Commission.
