What type of plastic can I recycle?
Yes - place these in your recycling
• Plastic bottles with a 1, 2, 4, 5 or 7 label (rinse clean, flatten and put caps back on)
• Yogurt and margarine tubs and lids
• Transparent “to-go” containers
• Transparent deli containers
• Produce containers

No - these items are NOT recyclable:
• Plastics marked with #3 or #6
• Plastic used to dispose of needles (label and dispose of in the trash)
• Toys
• Plastic bags (take these to the grocery store)
• Bottles that contain or have contained hazardous materials, like motor oil, antifreeze or pesticides
