3. Thank you for visiting our 2014 city budget website. As I prepare the 2014 city budget for the City Council to consider, I want to incorporate ideas and priorities from our community.

4. Putting together a budget is never easy. Several years of cuts have left us very few places to look to cut further. Every decision I make will be carefully considered, and I want to hear your ideas and insights.

5. I will be holding community meetings at businesses and libraries across Saint Paul this summer with area Councilmembers as well as representatives from our budget office. I want to hear from our residents about the challenges we face this year. Follow the link below for the community meetings schedule. Residents are also able to email me their ideas and insights, or, if you have a great idea in 140 characters or less, tweet at me (handle @mayorcoleman) using the hashtag #stpaulbudget.
