Saint Paul is home to more than 60 community gardens engaging more than 300 community gardeners.  Gardening on City property may happen in a variety of ways:

Would you like to garden with a group of volunteers, help at the Blooming Saint Paul greenhouse and nursery, or just spend some quiet time on your own maintaining a favorite public garden near you?

There are many opportunities and groups involved in gardening in Saint Paul.  Volunteer to maintain an ornamental public garden by planting, weeding, mulching and picking-up litter.  Click here to fill out the volunteer application form.  Make sure to mark the "Garden Steward" box and the location you want to garden. If you are not sure of where you want to garden please state so in the box.  The Arts and Gardens Coordinator will call/e-mail you back soon to set up your volunteer experience.
