If the dog has been given or sold to someone who lives in the City of Saint Paul, they are required to purchase a new lifetime license tag under their own name and address.

They will be notified of the dangerous declaration for the dog.

If the dog is given or sold to someone who does not live in the City of Saint Paul, they will be notified of the dangerous or potentially dangerous declaration.

Authorities for that City or County will also be notified.

If the owner moves with the dog, from the City of Saint Paul to another City or County, authorities for that City or County will be notified.
