Upon submission of the
application requirements to DSI, Animal Control Officers may inspect for the following:
- If the dog is outside a proper enclosure, it must be muzzled and restrained by a substantial chain or leash and under the physical restraint of a person 18 years of age or older. The leash or chain is not to exceed six feet in length
- The owner of a dog may be required to complete an approved dog obedience class.
