Information to Record
You may wish to write down the following information to keep on file:
- Date of complaint call
- Address of problem
- Name of owner (if you know)
- Name(s) of tenant, owner, or other person involved in the problem (if you know)
- Type(s) of problem (be as specific as possible)
- How long this has been a problem
- When it occurs (day of week, time of day, specific dates)
- City department or office called and with whom you spoke (if you know)
