The Saint Paul Legislative Code, Chapter 45, requires property owners or occupants to keep grass and/or weeds less than eight inches in height.

To report a property that is not in compliance, just email us, contact the DSI - Complaints Office at (651) 266-8989, or use our online Complaint form. Be sure that the property is within City limits.

The City will contact the property owner to make sure that the property gets maintained as soon as possible. In extreme cases, the City may send a crew to cut the grass or weeds, and bill the property owner for the work.
