City Clerk Shari Moore was appointed in 2006. Her career with the City also includes working with the offices of City Council Cable and Citizen Service.

The Office of the City Clerk manages official recordkeeping for the City Council, updates of the Legislative and Administrative Codes, the elections contract, publication of notices and ordinances, and acts as the responsible authority for data practices requests.

Shari has a Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University Mankato. She is active in the Minnesota Clerks and Finance Officers Association and is a former board member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
