This license is for any person engaged in the business of obtaining used motor vehicles to salvage and sell usable parts therefrom, and who maintains a premises upon which to accumulate and dismantle such vehicles.

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Department (Ph: (651) 228-6230), Licensing (Ph: (651) 266-8989), and Zoning (Ph: (651) 266-9008).

The annual fee for a Motor Vehicle Salvage Dealer License is $345.00 per location.

A Motor Vehicle Salvage Dealer License will expire one year from date of issuance and may be renewed annually.
