RSVP Timeline

Every contractor schedules work a little differently, but paving and utility work take an average of 14 weeks. Bad weather or other problems can make it take longer. The whole process can start as early as April, or as late as September

Xcel begins replacing gas mains

Sewer repairs done if needed
Week 3

Letters, fliers from City notify residents of construction a week before it starts

Week 4

Letters, fliers from City notify residents of construction a week before it starts

Week 5

Contractor begins to remove street

Your access is limited
Week 6

Storm sewer inlets built

Week 7

Gravel base is placed

Access improved
Week 8

Concrete curbs built

Street light conduit installed in boulevard
Week 9

Concrete driveways are poured

Driveways unusable for two weeks
Week 10

Concrete driveways are poured

Week 11

First layer of asphalt placed

Access to home near normal
Week 12

Boulevards sodded

Week 13

Final layer of asphalt placed

Week 14

Street lights installed and turned on

Trees installed when weather allows
