Youth Job Corps

Connecting Saint Paul youth and young adults with meaningful training, work, and career exploration so they are prepared to thrive and prosper.
The Youth Job Corps (YJC) program is designed for economically disadvantaged or at-risk Saint Paul city youth and young adults ages 14-24 who are interested in summer employment and career exploration. Qualified candidates for this program will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of occupations at over 90 work sites throughout the city.
The YJC program employs almost 500 youth during a 10 week period each summer. You can view a complete list of jobs offered through YJC last summer by visiting the YJC Online Job Bank.
Due to grant requirements, all applicants are subject to program eligibility. Please see the eligibility page to learn more. Applicants may be asked to verify information from your application including age, residency, household income, household size, and claimed disability upon request.
If you are an employer who is interested in providing a summer work experience for a young person, please contact Trenton Henspeter.
