City of Saint Paul VISTA
The City of Saint Paul VISTA program gives people from different backgrounds the chance to come together to make real differences in their community while gaining valuable work skills.
VISTA Members commit a year of their lives to help close the education disparity gap in St. Paul, working to ensure that our city's youth have access to high quality learning opportunities, preparing them for school and life. VISTA members undertake capacity building, indirect service projects in non-profit agencies, schools, and government entities across Saint Paul.
City of Saint Paul VISTA projects address the following program goals:
- Expand and Enhance Early Childhood Education
- Increase Before, During and After School Learning Opportunities for Young People
- Increase College Access and Preparedness
- Increase Workforce Training and Preparedness
