The goal of Greater Frogtown Community Development Corporation's (GFCDC) request for proposal (RFP) is to find two to three contractors who can install both vinyl inserts and wood sash pack replacements under the St. Paul--Ramsey County Lead Window replacement program for houses located in Ramsey County. (GFCDC administers the program.) The two or three lowest responsible and certified bidders will be selected to install windows through this program from January 1, 2014 until December 31, 2014. There will be approximately 70 projects over that time period.
Section 3 Information:
Preference will be given to contractors who are certified (or who have applied for certification) under the City of Saint Paul's Vendor Outreach and HUD Section 3 programs. If the contractor is certified Section 3 by committing to subcontract to Section 3 businesses, proof must be provided that the subcontractors are certified as a Section 3 business.
Bid Due Date/Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting:
GFCDC will be hosting a mandatory pre-bid meeting to review the RFP and program requirements on Wednesday, October 30th, at 10 am at 533 N. Dale (GFCDC offices).
