Forestry News
- All tree contractors working on private trees, stumps, and limbs larger than two inches in diameter in the City of Saint Paul shall be licensed by the Department of Safety and Inspection. Additionally, all work on public property trees must be permitted by Saint Paul Forestry before work is scheduled.
- Spring boulevard and park tree planting will begin as soon as the snow melts and the ground is thawed out, probably around the second week of May. Structured removal streets, completed RSVP streets and districts 3, 5, 7 and 16 will be planted this spring and fall.
