Kentucky Coffeetree Grove
Crosby Farm Regional Park

Located below the river bluffs of Crosby Farm Regional Park, this stand of Kentucky coffeetrees is unparalleled in Saint Paul for the number and size of coffeetrees in a single location. While at the northern limit of their growing range, coffeetrees are a valuable landscape tree for boulevards, parks, and residential yards exhibiting an architectural branch structure and interesting seed pods that provide exceptional winter interest. Extensive site enhancement managed by the Saint Paul Environmental Services Unit is reestablishing Crosby Farm's ecologically significant plant communities while allowing greater access to these trees.
