The Saint Paul Police Professional Development Institute (PDI) is sponsoring PISTOL SKILLS FOR THE FEMALE ENFORCER.
This course is designed to introduce female shooters of ALL skill levels to pistol techniques that have proven to be effective and efficient. It will cover practical shooting exercises to show why a particular grip, stance and presentation of the pistol are more effective than others. The smaller class size guarantees students more individual attention to assure improvement in their basic pistol skills such as; grip, stance, sight-picture, trigger pull, trigger reset, combat and tactical reloads, holster draw and presentation, etc. are being properly executed during all drills moving and stationary. Regardless of proficiency, students WILL improve with active participation in this course
Equipment: Participants are required to bring their duty weapon, a method of carry which is consistent with their duty assignment, and at least 3 magazines. Eye and ear protection are also required, and a baseball style cap is recommended.
Ammunition: Each student will need to bring 750 rounds of ball or practice ammunition.
