Saint Paul Regional Water Services supplies
reliable, quality water and services at a reasonable cost to the city of
Saint Paul and neighboring communities. We treat about 46
million gallons of water a day and distribute it through 1,100 miles of
water main to more than 415,000 people.
What is Saint Paul Doing?
- Using a conservation-based rate structure that
discourages excessive water usage during summer months
- Operating a leak detection unit that identifies
and locates leaks to reduce water loss
- Recycling construction material for re-use
- Maintaining extensive forested areas in local
watershed systems to protect source waters
