Neighborhood Development Center - Fall 2014 Section 3 Contractor Training Program
The City of Saint Paul Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Department is sponsoring a Fall session of NDC's Section 3 Contractor Training Program. Using NDC's "Plan It!" curriculum, Section 3 contractors are eligible to participate in 10 classroom sessions and 10 individual one-on-one meetings with NDC's instructor. The training is intended to help you:

  • Develop a business plan
  • Determine your market within a very large industry
  • Develop business development and marketing strategies
  • Learn about the Section 3 program and other M/WBE certification programs
  • Apply for and secure business financing.

Classes will be held Tuesday evenings starting in October. Please view the Section 3 Contractor Training Program informational flyer for more information. You also can download the Section 3 Contractor Training Program application.

Applications are due by Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

Section 3 Working Capital Loan Program
The City of Saint Paul sponsors a working capital loan program targeting low-income Section 3 businesses in and around the City of Saint Paul. Applicants who meet certain criteria may be eligible for loans that they may be unable to qualify for in the private marketplace.
