Performs professional forensic laboratory work dealing with physical evidence.
Work is performed both in the laboratory and at crime scenes.
Demonstrates an ability to perform a range of chemical and instrumental analysis
of physical evidence using established procedures, methods, and techniques
to preserve evidence from crime scenes and to ensure evidence integrity.
Demonstrates an ability to learn new technologies and scientific instruments and
apparatus used in a forensic laboratory.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology , Forensic Science,
Criminalistics, or a related Physical Science field. (No substitution for education.)
