Wheelock Parkway Bridge
WHEELOCK PARKWAY BRIDGE IS OPEN
Updated for week of August 11, 2014
Wheelock Parkway bridge and roadway re-opened to traffic, meeting the contract deadline of July 31, 2014. Vehicles and bicycles followed closely behind the centerline paint truck, shown in the photo below.
The regional trail must remained closed until shoulders are brought up to paved trail grades. An off-street detour for the regional trail is posted along Jackson Street and Larpenteur Avenue.
On behalf of City Bridge Division and the project team, a sincere thank-you to all the residents and commuters who have endured yet another large infrastructure project in your neighborhood.
