Softball Umpires

Our Summer Softball season is almost here! Saint Paul Parks and Recreation requires all sports officials to go through the new following procedure to become eligible to officiate.

Application Process

1) Apply for the "Softbal Umpire" poistion at (click on "Current Job Openings" to see the job posting). To begin the application process, click on the "Softball Umpire" and then "Apply" on the top right hand corner. This will begin the application process. If you do not have an account, you must create an account to continue.

2) Complete the Background Check Form. Background checks are vaild for 2 years. Once filled out, save the document and email to .

3) Complete the "Heads Up Concussions Training". Once completed, please save the certificate of completion. This certificate must be emailed or faxed to Municipal Athletics. Concussion Training Certificates are valid for 3 years.

Thursday, March 27th: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.


Wednesday, April 2nd: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

*Please show up 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
