Organization
Structure
The office is led by City Attorney, Gerald T. Hendrickson, who is an interim appointee of Mayor Christopher Coleman. The office is comprised of three divisions:
- The Civil Division provides counsel and advice to the Mayor, the City Council, and each of the City's administrative departments and offices.
- The Civil Litigation Division prosecutes and defends all civil claims on behalf of the city in state and federal court.
- The Criminal Division prosecutes petty misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and gross misdemeanor criminal violations that occur within the City of Saint Paul.
