The Master Plan Amendment for Lilydale Regional Park received final approval January 13, 2010 by the Metropolitan Council.
Current efforts within Lilydale Regional Park will focus on site work modifications necessary for future road and picnic shelter construction. The first phase will involve site clearing, earthwork including rubble relocation, cut, fill, grading, technical assistance investigating possible contaminate cleanup and landscape restoration necessary for future middle section (Pickerel Lake Area) road re-alignment and site prep for picnic shelter/restroom facility. This work is tentatively scheduled to begin July 2010 with a November 2010 completion date.
