Central Corridor is a light-rail transit (LRT) line that will connect downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul, primarily along University Ave.

The Central Corridor is a major connection between the two downtown areas. This LRT line will increase connectivity and slow the growth of traffic congestion.  The Central Corridor is also a major opportunity for reinvestment in the area.

The Latest
On November 25, 2009, the City Council approved a financing plan for streetscape improvements.  The City has also begun the station area planning process for Western, Victoria, and Hamline.
