Pets are part of the family too. If you take time to plan and build a kit for your family, take time to plan for your pets. If you think a disaster is scary, imagine what it is like for your 4-legged friend: your human people are scared and nervous, there are a lot of loud noises, nothing smells the way it normally does, and lots of other unfamiliar things. One of the most important things to remember when planning for your pet is proper identification. Work with your pet's veterinarian to build a kit specifically for your special friend.
