In 2012, St. Paul Parks and Recreation began woodland enhancement project along Hamline Avenue between Midway Parkway and Arlington Ave. The project involved removing at-risk trees and replacing them with a diverse variety of native tree species. Non-native, invasive trees and shrubs were also be removed and replaced. Find more information here.
