Trees Saint Paul
Donate a tree through the Trees Saint Paul program
Donating trees to the City of Saint Paul is a way great to mark a special occasion, honor someone special in your life, or simply beautify your local green space. If you would like to donate a tree, please fill out the Trees Saint Paul Donation Application and return it to the Forestry Department with your preferred species and location request. A Forester from the office will then contact you to discuss all the details regarding your donation. This form can also be used to make a cash donation in any amount that will be used to add trees to the urban forest of Saint Paul.
All donations are tax deductible and will be confirmed with a receipt letter after planting.
Donation trees are planted during the spring season (April 7th - June 15th) or the fall season (October 15th - November 15th).
Applications and donations are accepted March 1st - June 1st for spring season plantings and September 1st - November 1st for fall season plantings.
Donate Park Trees through Friends of the Parks and Trails of Ramsey County
If you would like to donate a tree to a park in Saint Paul, but would like Saint Paul Forestry to take care of the details, consider donating through Friends of the Parks and Trails of Ramsey County. They are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization formed to promote the public support and appreciation of parks and trails in Ramsey County. You can donate a dollar amount and Saint Paul Forestry will choose tree species and park location.
