Shaina joined the Right Track team in January 2019 as the Program Supervisor. With over twenty years of experience working with youth, families, and communities she is excited to be combining her passion for youth work with economic development. Shaina has her Master’s Degree in Youth Development Leadership from the University of Minnesota. Over the years, Shaina has supported teams of youth workers, coordinated multiple state grants, and managed the day to day operations of a small non-profit. In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, root for the MN Twins, and be outdoors.
YJ01 Program Manager
Dan has been with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation for 22 years in the field as a Community Recreation Specialist at a number of recreation centers in all parts of the city. He joined the Right Track team prior to the 2018 summer program as the YJ01 Program Coordinator. Dan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Metropolitan State University in 2017. In addition to coaching his daughter in various sports, Dan volunteers as a youth baseball coach for a 14/15 yr. old Babe Ruth league and serves on their board of directors as the league president.
Right Track Manager Assistant
Sarah Jenkins is new to the Right Track program this summer. She graduated from the University of Minnesota spring of 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. For the past four years she has been working as a project manager for a web marketing firm based in the Twin Cities. She loves St. Paul and going to community events and festivals, and she especially loves the State Fair. She is enthusiastic to work with the Right Track program as well as building strong connection within her community.
Dae Jaun Payne
Right Track Clerical Assistant
After graduating from Como Park Sr. High in 2012, Dae Jaun initiated her career journey at The Rice Street Teen Zone. Here she gained transferable work skills such as creating a welcoming environment and leading others. After working various jobs, she decided to continue gaining useful job readiness skills by taking courses at Summit Academy OIC and HIRED. Through HIRED she obtained an internship with the City of Saint Paul Fire Department. Dae Jaun decided she wanted to work in the Public-Sector where she sought after the position that she currently holds as a Clerical Trainee with the Right Track Program. She quickly adjusted to the demands of the position, has demonstrated strong technology skills, and is a valuable asset to the team, particularly her ability to connect with the youth as an alumna of the program.
Youth Program Assistant
Rawnson is currently a junior at Central High School. He started in Right Track as a Youth Jobs 02 intern for the Right Track program. During his internship, he was able to learn and practice many workplace skills. Rawnson was also able to explore photo editing programs by designing event posters and schedules. He is now able to use these skills as part of the Right Track team where he continues to create promotional materials, most notably Right Track’s 2017 Impact Report. In his free time, Rawnson is a volunteer sex educator with Twin Cities Teen Council. He presents in classrooms, educates his peers, and advocates for sex education and reproductive rights.
