The City Council will hold a public hearing concerning Zoning Code amendments pertaining to Solar and Wind Energy on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. The proposed amendments will establish wind energy installations in all zoning districts, regulated as an accessory use, with standards and conditions stating where and how wind energy systems may be sited. The amendments also establish community solar gardens as primary uses on a conditional basis. The Saint Paul Planning Commission recommended approval of these amendments at the Commission’s November 3, 2017 public hearing.

The hearing will be held before City Council on:

All comments concerning the proposed zoning text amendments will be heard at this hearing. Comments can be submitted in writing, addressed to:
