Project Overview

The proposed TWILITE Project will comprise a new Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Unit and bring the city of Saint Paul in line with growing community needs in addressing elder and vulnerable adult issues and crimes. The unit will foster essential education, outreach, intervention and awareness on elder and vulnerable adult crimes in order to deter and solve crimes involving the victimization of senior citizens and vulnerable adult. The unit will also conduct aggressive follow-up investigations and prosecution of elder and vulnerable adult abuse cases and provide critical crisis and transitional advocacy services to the victims.
