Animals sheltered at Saint Paul Animal Control (SPAC) that are not reunited with their owners may be released to adoptive homes or to organizations that specialized in animal rescue and re-homing. All animals must be spayed or neutered before adoption.
Adoption
The adoption fee is $50.00 + tax and the cost of any necessary medical services, such as spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccinations. Saint Paul residents will also be required to purchase a dog license for their new pet.
Animal Rescue/Rehoming Organizations
Animals that are not spayed or neutered, along with any bully breed dog will be made available for approved animal rescue organizations only. The following organizations are currently approved to pull animals from Saint Paul Animal Control:
