Adoption/Re-homing of SPAC Animals
Animals sheltered at Saint Paul Animal Control (SPAC) that are not reunited with their owners may be released to adoptive homes or to organizations that specialized in animal rescue and re-homing. At this time, only animals confirmed to be spayed or neutered will be made available directly through SPAC.
Animals available for adoption will be released upon payment of a fee. The adoption fee for Saint Paul residents is $48.00 per animal plus tax. For non-Saint Paul residents, the adoption fee is $228.00 per animal plus tax. Adopters will also be charged a $26.00 rabies deposit if they animal is not confirmed to be current on its anti-rabies vaccination. The deposit will be refunded if the adopter provides proof of anti-rabies vaccination within 72 hours of adoption.
