Between April 22 and May 6, DSI’s Business Licensing staff will undergo extensive training on our new software system. This system will provide us with the ability to offer more effective and efficient service delivery, including online business licensing. We expect to introduce these services this fall.
Given the level of staff involvement in the training over the next two weeks, we will strive to continue our normal service delivery, but there may be limited delays in processing applications and returning messages. We look forward to working with you as we improve your ability to do business in Saint Paul.
Business Licenses
Here you will find business licenses, listed by category, which are required by the City of Saint Paul. The State of Minnesota and Ramsey County also have license requirements for many businesses operating in city limits; for instance, establishments selling food are licensed by the state and waste haulers are licensed by the county.
