1. City staff from several departments joined local Community Development Corporation and District Council staff for walking tours of areas that had previously been recommended by each neighborhood.
  2. City staff discussed the history of the dwellings, both of owner-occupied homes and rental properties, and actions that have been taken in regard to the properties.
  3. Neighborhood groups expressed concerns about quality of life issues arising from neglected and abandoned properties.
  4. City staff described strategies the City has employed to address the issues facing the neighborhood and received feedback from the groups as to what they would like to see happen in these areas.
