Urban Redevelopment Strategies

Introduction

Urban sprawl results in more highways being constructed, more fuel being consumed by vehicles driving on the highways, more pollution caused by the vehicles burning the fuel, and more green space being paved over for parking lots for the vehicles burning the fuel. Keeping our urban cores livable is a key strategy to slowing urban sprawl and thereby protecting the environment.
