[ACTIVE] Minnesota's Summer of Civil Rights

City, state, and federal officials are partnering with local human and civil rights leaders to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The "Summer of Civil Rights" planning committee has organized a series of events throughout the Twin Cities to recognize the significance of the Civil Rights Act.

The "Summer of Civil Rights" kicks off with a 50th Anniversary Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, June 24th, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Minnesota State Capitol.
