Truck Parking Restrictions & Rules

  • Vehicles over 26,000 pounds are prohibited from parking on any city street unless engaged in loading/unloading or providing a service
  • Commercial vehicles and vehicles over 10,000 pounds are prohibited from parking on streets adjacent to any residential zoning district

Fines & Education Period

  • July 31 - October 31, 2023 - Education period
    • Informational flyers will be left on vehicles with new on-street parking weight limit rules and fines
  • November 1, 2023 - Education period ends and parking fines are imposed
    • Parking fine of $40 for vehicles not in compliance with on-street parking weigh limit rules enforced
  • January 1, 2024 - Parking fine increases to $150
  • July 1, 2024 - Parking fine increases to $250
