Youth Coach's Corner
Saint Paul Parks and Recreation youth sports would not be where we are today without the help and support from all our volunteers.
To become a certified coach with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, all coaches are required to:
1. Submit a background check
every two years
2. Attend a one-hour basic certification clinic
3. Attend a sport skills certification clinic for a particular sport
4. Complete the online Heads Up Concussion Training
once every three years. (See information below for additional information)
Basic and Sport Skills Certifications Clinics are offered multiple times a year for every sport. If interested in coaching, please contact a center near you.
