1. Hours of Operation

   Hours and programs are weather-dependent and subject to change. Ticket sales end one hour before the hill closes. Advance equipment fittings are strongly encouraged for lesson participants.

   * Please note, due to our lesson program, rental equipment is not available on lesson weekends. 

2. Rental Equipment

   Equipment Rental Packages

   Please note, due to our lesson program, equipment rentals are only available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during chalet hours. 

   • Skis, boots, and poles (downhill or cross country): $15
   • Snowboard and boots: $15

3. Ski Passes

   Tow Rope Tickets

   Tow rope tickets are $15 and can be purchases inside the Como Park Ski Center Chalet during up to one hour before close. Please note, due to our lesson program, rental equipment is not available on weekends.

4. Weather Cancellation Policy

   Safety is our number one priority. Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel, postpone or move indoors any outdoor activity, should the forecasted temperature reach any combination of wind and temperature that is -25 degrees or colder, or if blizzard conditions occur. 

   The decision to cancel programs will be made a minimum of two hours prior to a program start time. Please check your email or call the chalet at 651-488-9673 for cancellation information.

   If there is a weather cancellation during a program with multiple sessions, a make-up class will be held on the same day at the same time in the following weeks. 

   Cross-country classes/clinics are dependent on natural snow. If these programs are cancelled due to lack of snow, a full refund will be issued.

5. Chalet Rentals

6. Now Hiring: Ski and Snowboard Instructors

   If you are experienced in downhill skiing, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing and want to share your skills with the community, consider working at Como Park Ski Center this winter! Lessons typically take place December through February on weekends and Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Training is scheduled to begin in November and salary will be dependent on experience. For more information, contact ParksWinterSki@ci.stpaul.mn.us.
