History

Raspberry Island was renovated in 2008. It included replacement of a rip-rap revetment to protect the riverbank, landscaping that included a walking path, access to the river, planting beds, benches, lighting, parking lot improvements and restroom facilities, which were added to the Minnesota Boat Club building.
Raspberry Island Regional Park received an award in the Public Landscape Design Category. The "City of Saint Paul Parks & Recreation Vision Plan" was also recognized in the Planning and Research Category.
Music in the Park
Raspberry Island will host several music performances throughout the summer. Performances are held either at 12:30pm or 7pm.

The permits below are for private events with less than 250 people (weddings, company picnics, etc.) Large Private and Public events (more than 250 people) require an Event Grounds Permit, which can be obtained by calling Harriet Island at (651) 292-7010. Rental rates are listed in the below permit.

2013 reservations will be accepted the first business day in January 2013.
You may place your reservation over the telephone at (651) 292-7010 with payment by credit card (fax or scan in your completed permit) or mail in your completed permit with payment by check to the address below. In person reservations will be taken on the first business day of January, 2013 from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at 83 West Water Street, Saint Paul, MN 55107.

Harriet Island Regional Park, known to host festivals and other large events, is adjacent to Raspberry Island. We do not allow event rentals at Raspberry Island when a large event is scheduled at Harriet Island Regional Park.
