Como Shelter located at Midway Parkway near Hamline Avenue; seats approximately 50 people. Electricity is available at 110 volts. Multiple crock pots, coffee pots, roasters and other electric items may cause overloads on the power source. It also has a large double grill. The restrooms, drinking fountain and play area are nearby. The maximum size group that park permits will issue a permit for at this location is 100 persons.
Note: No tents are allowed in this picnic area.
Alcohol - The possession and consumption of
non-intoxicating malt liquor (containing not more than 3.2% alcohol by
weight) is permitted from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. within designated
picnic areas. Glass beverage containers are not allowed.
Como Park Pavilion located at 1199 Midway Parkway; seats approximately 250 people. Electricity is available at a 110 volts. Multiple crock pots, coffee pots, roasters and other electric items may cause overloads on the power source. It also has two large double barbecue grills. The restrooms and drinking fountain are located in a separate building at the site.
The pavilion is a side-by-side picnic pavilion that can be rented separately or as one. Each side seats approximately 125 people. Both sides have a kitchen with a gas stove (no oven), sinks, electricity and a serving counter. South side has a walk-in cooler and the North side has a commercial size refrigerator.
Note: Large group picnic or functions in Como Park may require the sponsoring organization arrange for alternative or off-site parking with a shuttle bus service to the park.

Historic Streetcar Station located at 1224 N. Lexington Pkwy., the Historic Streetcar Station was built in 1985. It houses an interpretive museum about the Twin Cities Streetcar Line and Como Park. The renovated building includes an interpretive exhibit area, public restrooms, office space, and an outdoor patio.
This facility is a heated and air conditioned building that is available for rentals year-round. It is equipped with tables and chairs. The setup of tables and chairs is the responsibility of the permit holder. Take down of the tables and chairs will be done by Parks staff after rental is completed. Only weighted tents are allowed. No large games/rides are allowed.
Note: Museum is open to the public on Sundays from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, no reservations will be made for this time.
