Change in Legislative Hearings for Garbage Program

Protecting public health and safety is a top priority for the City of Saint Paul. The City is following all federal and state guidelines, which includes canceling or postponing any large gatherings. To meet the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, any Saint Paul Quarter 2 2020 Legislative Hearings that are scheduled for October 8, 15, 22 and will be conducted over the phone. All residents are asked to provide a phone number and City staff will coordinate the hearing. Thank you for your cooperation.

The City of Saint Paul gives you an opportunity to have a legislative hearing about your garbage assessment to assist in resolving disputed assessments. Written or oral statements by any owner will be considered at this hearing. The hearing officer will review your information and make a recommendation to the City Council.

Please refer to the letter from the City of Saint Paul that is titled "Public Hearing Notice - Ratification of Assessment" for specific information about your legislative hearing date, time, and location. Legislative hearings for Quarter 2 2020 (April - June) garbage delinquent bills will begin in October 2020. You will receive a letter regarding your particular legislative hearing date, time, and location approximately three weeks before your legislative hearing date. Please plan to attend your hearing on the date and time provided in the letter.
