Fraud Prevention Center
Scammers will often impersonate government agencies or officials to try and get money from residents and business owners. There are many examples, including fake bills or invoices.

Payment Center
You can now pay your assessments online by E-Check. It’s easy, convenient, secure, fully automated – and it’s free. Visit the Payment Options page for more details on E-check and other payment options available.

Payment Works
In 2025, the City of Saint Paul has partnered with PaymentWorks to handle the collection, validation, and management of all vendor information. PaymentWorks is a cloud-based software that is both easy and free for vendors to use. Most importantly, it is safe and secure service provider for both the City and our trusted vendors. Vendors will receive an invitation to register and will be able to enter all of their information in a secure account.

The City of Saint Paul's Treasury has an Investor Relations page. The Treasury Division manages all City financing needs, including investor communications for the City and related entities.
Saint Paul Open Budget
Saint Paul's budget is now available as part of the Open Budget initiative.

Mayor Melvin Carter proposed the City's 2024 Budget on August 10, 2023. Information on the 2024 Budget and prior year budgets can be found on the Office of Financial Services' Budget webpages.

Bill Payments
You can securely pay your quarterly garbage bill or any other assessment in the following ways:
- Mail a check using the provided return envelope
- Pay online or set up autopay options through the City’s secure third-party payment vendor: Pay My Garbage Bill. All online payments are processed securely through Old National Bank and do not go through City servers.
Quarterly garbage bills are due September 1, 2025.
Annual storm sewer charge bills are due November 1, 2025.
Bills are available online and can be viewed and paid now at stpaul.gov/assessments with check or credit/debit card. Autopay is also available. Please note that the assessments link is not accessing the city's system: https://eproperty.logis.org/stpaul/assessments/search
