Description
The original cast iron water main in the project area was installed between 1887 and 1890 and has experienced repeated main breaks over the years. To continue to ensure the reliability of our system, SPRWS will be replacing the existing 6" and 12" cast iron water main with 6" and 12" ductile iron pipe. The scope of the project is as follows:
- Replace approximately 50 feet of 6" cast iron water main with 6" ductile iron pipe and 50 feet of 12" cast iron water main with 12" ductile iron pipe
- Repair, and restore street pavement, curb, and sidewalk as needed
