Saint Paul police are investigating a death after a man was found dead in his home on Saturday, May 23.
At approximately 10:20 a.m., Saint Paul police officers and paramedics were dispatched to the 200 block of Belvidere Street East on a report of an adult male found unconscious and not breathing. When officers and paramedics arrived, they attempted to revive the victim, but they were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
Officers secured the scene and began looking for any evidence related to the death investigation. They also began to canvass the neighborhood looking for any information that may lead them to understand what occurred.
The department’s Forensic Services Unit will be processing the scene and investigators are trying to determine what led to this man’s death and who is responsible. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 651-266-5650.
The Ramsey County medical examiner will positively identify the victim and determine an exact cause of death. This information, along with any updates on the case, will be released on the Saint Paul Police Department Twitter account, @sppdmn.
