The three people killed Saturday, Jan. 30, on the 700 block of Jessie Street have been positively identified by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office:

  • D’Zondria D. Wallace, 30, of Saint Paul,
  • La’Porsha Wallace, 14, of Saint Paul, and
  • Ja’Corbie Wallace, 11, of Saint Paul.

D’Zondria was the children’s mother. All three died from injuries sustained after being shot.  

On Sunday, Jan. 31, the Saint Paul Police Department announced an arrest in the case. TeKeith Svyone Jones, 26, was arrested without incident by the department’s SWAT team at about 7:25 p.m. in an apartment on the 2100 block of Wilson Avenue, about four miles from where the shooting occurred.

Jones was transported to the police department’s Headquarters, where he was interviewed by homicide investigators and booked into the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center. He remains in jail, pending charges.

While this case remains active, investigators are not looking for anyone else suspected of shooting the victims. Any additional updates on the case will be shared on the Saint Paul Police Department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, which can be found at @sppdmn.
