Officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the area of Rice and Manitoba Ave at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. When officers arrived, they located an adult male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Saint Paul Fire medics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Saint Paul Police Homicide investigators and Forensic Services Unit technicians are on the scene investigating the ongoing case. Information regarding the cause of the shooting and any potential suspects is still under investigation.
