ARTICLE I 

NAME 

The name of the Board is the Saint Paul Climate Justice Advisory Board (referred to hereafter as CJAB)

PURPOSE 

Efforts Include Continuing to Invest in the City’s Immigrant Legal Defense Fund, A New American Loan Program for Residents Seeking to Naturalize, New Research to Inform Ongoing Support for Immigrants and Refugees, and Expanded Community Engagement Efforts

Mayor Melvin Carter Announces 2022 Library Budget Proposal

The 2022 Budget Proposal totals $713 million, including a proposed 6.9% property tax levy increase which amounts to an increase of $10.58 per month for a median value home. Amid the ongoing impacts of the many challenges our community has faced over the past 18 months, the Mayor's 2022 Budget Proposal supports a shared vision for revitalization and sustainability.

In following latest CDC recommendations, Mayors recommend usage of masks in all indoor public spaces, and requiring masks for local government staff while indoors, as well as all visitors to City-owned buildings

Mayor Melvin Carter has declared tomorrow, Friday, July 30th, 2021 as Sunisa Lee Day in the City of Saint Paul in honor of 18-year-old Saint Paul native Sunisa Lee who has won an Olympic gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 women’s artistic individual all-around gymnastics competition.
