2023 legislative session brings millions in funding to Saint Paul to support public safety, housing, community centers, and public infrastructure
Session also authorizes the city to bring sales tax proposal to Saint Paul voters
Saint Paul’s equitable strategy to fund comprehensive improvements to city roads and parks. This “Common Cent” approach allocates the voter-approved, one-cent increase in the local sales tax to related projects, estimated to cost $1 billion over 20 years.
